ABOUT AMY
Hi, I’m Amy Grengs — founder of Furry Paws Care and lifelong animal lover. I’m a proud Colorado native who grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, and I knew from an early age that caring for them was my calling.
Since launching Furry Paws Care in 2014 — right out of high school — I’ve dedicated my life to providing compassionate, professional care to pets and their people. I’m a former veterinary assistant and proud to be Fear Free Certified, having worked at Colorado’s first Fear Free Certified animal hospital. Your pet’s emotional well-being is just as important to me as their physical care.
I specialize in livestock care, special needs pets, and behaviorally complex dogs — the ones who need a little extra patience, understanding, and skill. Whether your pet is playful, shy, reactive, or requires medical support, I meet them where they are with empathy and confidence.
At Furry Paws Care, every pet is treated like family — because to me, they are.
ABOUT TYLER
Meet Tyler — Amy’s fiancé, right-hand helper, and trusted member of the Furry Paws Care team since 2018. Together, Tyler and Amy share not only a love for animals but also a home with their daughter, five dogs, one cat, and a history of raising chickens and ducks. Animals have always been a part of Tyler’s life, and caring for them comes naturally.
Tyler plays a key role in many of our services, including in-home Pawdicures, Potty Patch Shaves, and Anal Gland Expressions — where he’s especially gifted at helping pets feel calm, safe, and comfortable during these up-close and personal visits.
In addition, Tyler provides Horse & Livestock Care, Dog Walks, Potty Breaks, and Pet Sitting. He’s a dependable farmhand, always ready to lend a hand with both the big jobs and the small details.
Oh, and if your pup happens to be a Saint Bernard, you’re in luck — Tyler has a soft spot for the big, drooly giants!
With his steady presence and animal-loving heart, Tyler is a vital part of the Furry Paws Care pack — and your pets will love him, too.
ABOUT KARA
Kara is not only Amy’s sister but also a trusted, full-time member of the Furry Paws Care team since 2019 (and part-time since 2017). Growing up together, Kara and Amy shared a home filled with animals — dogs, cats, fish, lizards, hamsters — you name it! Today, Kara shares her life with two dogs and one cat of her own.
Kara’s gentle, calming presence naturally puts animals at ease. Whether it’s a shy pup, a curious cat, or a small critter, her quiet confidence helps pets feel safe and cared for. She’s deeply dedicated to both her clients and their furry companions, and it shows in every visit.
With years of hands-on experience and a heart full of compassion, Kara is a key part of the Furry Paws Care family — providing dependable, loving care you can trust.
