We strive to accommodate all requests, but with a full calendar of wagging tails and happy paws, availability may be limited. Please help us serve you best by following the guidelines below. Thank you for your understanding!
At Furry Paws Care, we’re committed to making every visit safe, smooth, and stress-free — for both you and your pets! To help us serve you best, please review the following policies. We truly appreciate your understanding and support!

Booking Requests
To keep our schedule running smoothly for all our furry (and feathered) clients:
• Please submit new service requests at least 2 weeks in advance
(More notice is always appreciated!)
• Service requests must be submitted by 3:00 PM (M–F)
Requests submitted after 3 PM or on weekends will be reviewed the next business day.
• We aim to respond to all booking requests by 5:00 PM (M–F)
Booking Fee
A 50% booking fee is required to reserve the following services:
• Almost Overnight Pet Sitting
• Cat Sitting and or Small & Exotic Pet Sitting
• Equine & Livestock Care
This fee:
• Is non-refundable and non-transferable to other services or future dates
• Also acts as a cancellation fee, since we reserve your requested time and may turn away other clients
Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
We accept:
• Cash
• Zelle
• Venmo
• Checks (made payable to Furry Paws Care)
• Credit/debit cards (a small processing fee may apply)
A $10 late fee may be added to invoices not paid within 3 days of service.
Cancellations & Changes
We know that plans change — thank you for keeping us in the loop!
• Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes
(Cutoff time is 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee for:
• Dog Walks
• Potty Breaks
• Pet Taxi Services
• If we arrive and are unable to complete the visit (e.g., due to a lockout or last-minute cancellation), a $40 fee will apply
• For Pet Sitting reservations, the 50% booking fee is non-refundable and also serves as a cancellation fee
• During holidays, we kindly ask for 7–14 days’ notice for any changes or cancellations, as demand is high and space is limited
Inclement Weather
Your pet’s safety — and ours — comes first. In the case of severe weather (e.g., snowstorms, ice, extreme heat), visits may be delayed, adjusted, or canceled. We’ll contact you as soon as possible if plans need to change.
Home Access
Please make sure we have reliable access to your home. We accept:
• Keys
• Door Codes
• Garage Codes
• Lockbox Codes
If we are unable to access your home due to a missing key, malfunctioning code, or other issue, a visit fee may still apply.
Aggressive or Unmanageable Pets
For the safety of your pet and our team, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a pet displays aggression or cannot be safely handled. If this occurs, we’ll contact you immediately to discuss how to proceed.

Visit Time Windows
We do our best to honor preferred visit times. However, most visits are scheduled within a 3 hour window based on routing and daily workload.
If your pet requires time-sensitive care (e.g., medication), please let us know in advance so we can accommodate accordingly.
Photos & Media
We love sharing adorable moments from our visits! By booking our services, you consent to us taking photos of your pet for updates and occasional use on our social media or website.
If you prefer we don’t use your pet’s photo publicly, just let us know — we’ll absolutely respect your wishes!
Vaccination Requirements
All pets must be current on their Rabies vaccination, we vaccine require record.
Puppies and kittens under 16 weeks of age are exempt from this requirement.
If your vet has deemed your pet exempt, we require official documentation.
Pet Care Instructions
To provide the best possible care, please ensure your pet’s information is up to date in your PetPocketbook Portal (preferred), or share updates with us via email or written notes at your home.

Additional Meet & Greets
A $40 follow-up Meet & Greet is required if:
• You’ve added a new pet
• You’ve moved to a new home
• Your pet’s care routine has significantly changed
• It’s been a while since we last visited
